Ground or sand slurry pumps are widely used in hydraulic transport systems. The pumps are used for pumping various abrasive slurries (hydraulic fluids) with high solids content (up to 60% by volume), with the density of the pumped slurry up to 2.3 t/m3, pH hydrogen index from 6 to 12, the max size of pumped solid particles shall not exceed 200 mm and the temperature of the pumped slurry up to 700 C.
